Water leak sensors

Fire protection is mandated by law in many jurisdictions to minimize loss of life. However, when it comes to property loss, water leaks and freezing temperatures can rival the damage caused by fires.

Water detection sensors placed in key locations and connected to a monitored alarm system can alert you to a dangerous condition before the damage becomes extensive. Laundry rooms, meter rooms, and the lowest point of water pipes are key locations in detecting leaks.

We can even partner up with your plumber to install automatic cut-off valves to stop the water supply when a leak is detected. This will not only save on the water bill, but will also prevent further damage once a leak is detected.

Water leak detection may not be required by law, but it is essential in protecting your investment.

Frost/Temperature detectors

Temperature sensors can alert you about a problem with the building’s heating system before the tenants do. When the interior temperature drops below 50 (or a pre-set temperature) degrees, our system will notify you to take action. “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”

This can be really important in an unheated utility space. If the inside temperature is getting low, maybe it’s time to bring in an electric heater, before the pipes freeze.
